Videography as a Narrative

My fascination with videography began when I was eleven years old. Growing up thirty minutes outside of town, near a lake, and surrounded by woods there was little to do and much to explore. I was gifted a flip camera and began creating videos with my friends. What started as funny videos, soon morphed into a full series and my love for telling stories began. Over the past few years my work has taken a more metaphorical form. Addressing the issues of isolation, loss, and change through silence, desaturation, and repetition.
